Plans

Pick the pace that suits the house

One visit, a room a season, or a yearly look-around. Your price for each is on your written plan, never on the phone first.

  • One room, one visit

One day for one room, when you're ready for it.

    • Walls, ceiling and trim in one room
    • Cracks and nail holes filled first
    • Furniture moved and put back
    • A call the day before
  • A room a season

    A good place to start

Four visits a year, one room each, on weekdays you choose ahead.

    • One room each season, in the order you pick
    • A dated calendar sent at the start of the year
    • A call the day before every visit
    • Touch-ups to our earlier work at each visit
  • Spring look-around

One visit each spring to see what the year has worn.

    • A walk through every room and the porch
    • Touch-ups to paint we've done
    • A written list of what to do next
    • No obligation to book anything on it

Plans are scheduled painting visits. They are not insurance, not a warranty and not a maintenance contract on your house. Your written plan states the price of each visit and of the year, what is included and what isn't, and how to stop: tell us by phone or text before the next visit, and nothing more is owed for visits that haven't happened.

A year of visits

A room a season, month by month

A sample calendar. You choose the rooms, and we move any visit that doesn't suit you.

  • Winter: a bedroom or guest room

    Dec-Feb

  • Spring: the kitchen or dining room

    Mar-May

  • Summer: porch, railing and front door

    Jun-Aug

  • Fall: the living room or hall

    Sep-Nov

  • Spring look-around

    Apr

  • Outside work, in dry weather

    Apr-Oct

Outside work waits for dry mornings, and we call you when a day moves.

Stopping is easy

You can pause any plan between visits.

A plan is a calendar, not a contract on your house. Plans are not insurance and not a warranty.

  • Tell us by phone or text before the next visit

  • Nothing more is owed for visits that haven't happened

  • Your written plan says what is included and what isn't

  • Family can pay, and we still confirm each visit with you

About plans

Questions about plans

How do plans work, and how do I stop one?

A plan is a calendar of visits. You can stop between visits by phone or text, and nothing more is owed for visits that haven't happened. Plans aren't insurance or a warranty.

Is there a deposit, and when do I pay?

That depends on the size of the job. Your written plan says what is due, when, and how family can pay for you.

Can my daughter or son set it up from another city?

Yes. Family can call, text, agree the plan and pay from anywhere. We still confirm each visit with you by phone, and we send a photo of every finished room.

What is on the written plan?

Which rooms, the repairs, the number of coats, the paint and sheen, the colors, cleanup, the dates, what it costs and how payment works. We can print it in large type.

Ask about a plan. There's no rush.

Call Ngozi, or send a few words. We'll write the plan and wait for your answer.
